A Skilled Nursing Facility in the Pomona area is seeking an experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team.

The Director of Human Resources sets the tone for the entire human resources department. From employee relations to payroll to compliance issues, the HR department helps ensure that an organization runs smoothly.

Primary Duties:

• Facilitate company culture, values, and policies.
• Monitor and maintain HR compliance for new hires and existing staff.
• Assist in collecting data for general audits and special projects.
• Maintain payroll operations by following policies and procedures.
• Manage the staffing process, including but not limited to onboarding.
• Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities.
• Investigate employee issues and conflicts and brings them to resolution.
• Ensure the organization’s compliance with local, state and federal regulations
• Use performance management tools to provide guidance and feedback to team.
• Ensure all company HR policies are applied consistently and fairly.
• Partner with management to ensure strategic HR goals are aligned with business initiatives.
• Maintain HR systems and processes.
• Conduct performance and salary reviews.
• Provide support and guidance to HR staff.
• Design and implement employee retention strategies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources preferred.
• Previous experience as a Director of Human Resources and Payroll.
• Experience working in a Long Term Care setting a plus.
• Knowledge of labor and employment laws.
• Ability to build rapport with all employees.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
