Our Edina team is excited to add a Director of Investment Operations. We are looking for an individual who is excited to join a fast paced and rapidly growing practice. We need an individual who is detail-oriented, can easily prioritize in a high-volume environment, has a high enthusiasm for learning, and is an effective communicator.

The following responsibilities are some of the day-to-day operations of this fulfilling position:

  • Complete, submit, and track account investment paperwork
  • Track opening and funding of all investment accounts
  • Trade accounts to allocation, manage additional contributions and distributions
  • Facilitate the financial planning process working with clients and the lead Financial Advisor
  • Communicate with clients to develop advisory plans and provide explanations of investment plans
  • Manage service-related tasks for client investment accounts
  • Participate in weekly and monthly team meetings to assess goals
  • Run investment reports for client use or team use

Qualifications – Required

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Series 6/63/7 & SIE or willing to obtain within 6 months of hire
  • Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy in handling detailed work with high level of focus
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to adapt to change, and identify process improvements
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Efficient communicator with both clients and team members
  • Interest in earning additional designations or licenses to continue growth over time

Qualifications – Recommended

  • Past finance/investment account experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
