DIRECTOR OF SUPPLY CHAIN AND PROCUREMENT
Banko Overhead Doors has been serving West Central Florida since 1984, providing residential and commercial garage door products and services in 9+ counties. We are currently seeking an experienced full-time Director of Supply Chain and Procurement to join our team.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Director of Supply Chain and Procurement is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring our overall supply chain strategy and to maximize efficiency, cost, and productivity. This role is pivotal in the logistics planning process to identify problems within receiving, cycling, storage, and shipping of products. The right candidate should have strong communication and strategic planning abilities, along with a vast knowledge of ERP’s on implementation (required) and 6S. Our ideal candidate is required to have a strong understanding of accounting, legal documents, and be able to build lasting relationships as they increase efficiency and focus on warehouse optimization.
Other Duties:
● Strategically plan and implement overall supply chain strategy.
● Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
● Be responsible for introducing process improvements in the supply chain and identify new vendors/suppliers without jeopardizing quality and service delivery.
● Develop and manage the rosters of suppliers, elaborate supplier selection, and evaluation, quality, and performance measurement mechanisms.
● Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
● Arrange warehouse, plan routes and process shipments.
● Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
● Supervise, coach and train direct reports and warehouse workforce.
● Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
● Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
● Manage vendor contracts and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure completeness of deliverables outlined in the contract this includes ensuring that all vendor complaints and concerns are addressed promptly to ensure that the project continues to receive uninterrupted services at all times.
● Comply with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Skilled in your profession, and you are confident in your abilities to demonstrate those skills, you are a team player, you are organized, innovative, and you have an excellent work ethic. You consider yourself a supply chain and logistics expert ensuring quality control while adhering to the company’s policies and procedures on supply chain management will be some of your main priorities when carrying out this role.
● Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
● 3-5 years Supply Chain experience.
● Experience in the creation and implementation of enterprise resource planning systems. (ERP).
● Ability to manage logistics of all aspects of supply chain, from product development to the shipment of finished items.
● Experience in 6S or related warehouse implementation.
● Understanding of accounting / finance.
● Must be able to comprehend legal documents.
● Strong communication skills.
● Valid and clean 3-year driving record.
● Ability to successfully pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
