Dishwasher Job Summary:

The dishwasher is responsible for the washing of all tableware, silverware, glassware, pots & pans, and other kitchen tools and utensils before, during, and after service. Maintain a clean and organized station. Assist in closing procedures of kitchen and front-of-house teams, including cleaning of dishwasher area and adjacent stations. Pay close attention to details and ensure restaurant and personal standards are consistently achieved. Seek opportunities to be proactive.

Dishwasher Qualifications:

• Passionate approach to restaurant environment, hospitality, and food service
• Competent in procedures of dishwashing including operation of machinery and identification of kitchen tools and utensils
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well in environment with time constraints
• Ability to troubleshoot effectively
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills, performing work accurately and efficiently
• Knack for inspiring teammates to go above-and-beyond expectations

Dishwasher Responsibilities:

• Maintain and be able to demonstrate complete knowledge of tableware, silverware, glassware, utensils, kitchen tools, pots & pans
• Approach duties with positivity and enthusiasm, including interactions with teammates, guests, vendors, and neighbors
• Demonstrate commitment to high standards of execution and quality of work
• Be willing to handle high volume with poise and grace, thriving under the pressure of a busy service
• Consistently approach duties with a sense of urgency and meticulous attention to detail
• Perform secondary responsibilities including cleaning tasks, stocking, and organization at direction of team leaders
• Step outside scope of responsibilities to assist team members with theirs

Salary:

$16.04 per hour + $4 dollars an hour in tips

Workdays:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.
