Part I:Title: Dishwasher

Reports To: Kitchen Manager/Restaurant Manager
Status: Non-Exempt

Part II:
Broad Functions: Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment using specific chemicals to ensure sanitary standards. Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized.
Part III:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Load, run and unload dish machine.
2. Keep the dish machine clean and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately.
3. Monitor dish machine water temperature to ensure sanitary wash cycle.
4. Wash and store all tableware and kitchenware.
5. Keep dish room clean and organized.
6. Maintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchen.
7. Bag and haul dish room trash to dumpster at designed times.
8. Handle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and loss.
9. Maintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning supplies.
10. Clean food preparation and production areas as required.
11. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the Restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
12. Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.

13. Follows all security and safety procedures established by the Company.
14. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Part IV:
Skills and Qualifications:
1. At least one year experience in a Store/Restaurant environment.
2. Good communication skills with co-workers and supervisors.
3. Ability to work in a team environment.
4. Requires the ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents.

While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to:
1. Be able to work in hot, wet, humid and loud environment for long periods of time.
2. Frequently immerses hands in water and water diluted with chemical solutions.
3. Be physically able to lift, reach, bend and stoop.
4. Be able to working in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours).
5. Be able to safely lift bags, cases and stacks weighing up to 60 pounds up to 30 times per shift.
