Pay: $15.00 - $18.00/hr DOEShift: 11 AM - 8 PM
Jackson Energy Logistics is currently looking to hire a new Dispatch Assistant. The Dispatch Assistant plays a critical role in the ongoing success of our fuel wholesale operation. This is an administrative position assisting with the day-to-day operations of the Dispatch Department. You are primarily responsible for answering and directing calls to the appropriate person, entering all customer orders into the dispatch program, requesting and inputting store fuel readings for all markets, inputting pricing information, and responding to billing questions regarding carrier freight billing.

Some of what you will do as a Dispatch Assistant:
- Contact stores to request fuel readings and enter results for all markets.
- Respond to customer email and phone calls and escalate when necessary.
- Place customer fuel orders into the dispatch program.
- Input data into the pricing sheet with accuracy.
- Respond to carrier freight billing questions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Microsoft Office knowledge including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Ability to accept change and respond to setbacks positively and with minimal disruption. Able to take on a variety of different tasks and roles within the organization. Learn quickly when facing new problems: experiment and will try anything to find solutions; embrace the challenge of unfamiliar tasks.
- A history of communicating effectively and professionally with supervisor, co-workers, and all other departments.
- Respond actively and sensitively to customer needs and problems.
- The ability to adhere to the work schedule and report to work on time. Complete all assigned tasks.
- An ability to understand the job requirements, work environment, and customer needs. Completes work with minimal direction.
- Experience making well-reasoned and timely decisions that favorably affect work performance and customer service.
- A history of working effectively and efficiently, is well organized, and makes few errors.
- The ability to cooperate and work well with all employees. Work with others to achieve shared goals while taking responsibility for individual actions.
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Light Work.
