Job Summary

The driver / warehouse associate assists with daily operations and helps maintain the warehouse, load and unload trucks, and coordinate the receiving and delivery of materials.

Responsibilities

• Drives: Sprinter van, 16' Box and 24' Box trucks for the delivery and pick-up of equipment and materials for assigned jobs.
• Must use independent thought and judgement throughout the day.
• Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day.
• Perform daily pre-and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
• Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule.
• Able to perform some basic maintenance of vehicles, reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to supervisor.
• Assists in the loading and unloading at company warehouse and jobsite, equipment and materials.
• Assists with logistics in all other departments when not driving.
• Assists in the receiving and delivery of materials and freight, as needed.
• Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made.
• Must be available to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and potentially extended hours if necessary.
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Must be able to load and unload awkward packages with and without dollies in various types of weather.

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehouse/Delivery experience
• High school graduate or GED preferred
• Valid Class C driver's license
• Maintain good driving record
• 3 years of driving experience
