Reports to: Director of Operations
FLSA: Full-Time, Salaried
With our Guests, our Hospitality and our Colleagues at our core, the Dual General manager is responsible for all aspects of operations of our premium, focused service hotels, day-to-day staff management, and guests’ satisfaction. They should be an ambassador for the brand and the hotel. Provide leadership and strategic planning to all departments in support of Jackson Hospitalitie's service culture, maximize operations and guest satisfaction. Work very closely with the hotel owners and other stake holders. Responsible for managing the Hotels management team and overall hotel targets to deliver an excellent guest and employee experience.
- The Home2 Suites is currently under construction and expected to open May 2023.
Bachelor's degree in hospitality or another related field or 5 years of hotel general manager experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree- Experience within Hilton branded hotels preferred
- Proven financial knowledge required
- Able to read, understand, analyze, and prepare financial and industry reports
- Demonstrate excellent organizational skills, communication skills, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
- Proficient with hotel Property Management Systems (FOSSE, PEP)
- Able to communicate well with guests and employees with limited English
- Able to adapt to new industry technology advancements and systems
- Able to work weekends, nights, holidays, and overnight as needed
- Must poses a valid driver’s license with a clear driving record

- Optimize and maximize guest and associate experience
- Responsible for the overall success of the hotels, suing strong leadership skills to drive revenue, maximize profits, and assure quality
- Effectively manager and motivate associates to ensure achievement of overall financial results, guest, and associate satisfaction.
- Chamption of the hotels internal and external communication and record keeping
- Aggressively pursue revenue goals, effectively utilizing yield management and revenue tools
- Prepare and manage the annual budget
- Responsible for monthly forecasting of room nights and revenue
- Conduct P&L review with Vice President monthly
- Ensure payroll and time management are performed per Jackson Hospitality Standards
- Manage all operational expenses per Jackson Hospitality standards and budget criteria
- Ensure the hotel meets and exceeds brand and Jackson Hospitality quality standards
- Provide leadership and support to the sales team, take an active role in preparation of hotels implementation of annual sales/marketing plan, conduct sales calls, and capitalize on all revenue opportunities
- Motivate, coach, and train team members, set goals and hold team members accountable, and provide appropriate feedback
- Demonstrate a high level of integrity, take ownership of personal and team member actions, communicate effectively, promote collaboration, nurture a positive and inclusive work environment, and adhere to Jackson Hospitality Standard Operating Procedures
