POSITION TITLE: E-Commerce Merchandise Coordinator
POSITION PURPOSE:
Under supervision of the Associate Merchandiser and Merchandiser, oversee the entire sample management process from sample receipt to product going live on the website. Visually maintain website.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Coordinates entire sample management process for each monthly delivery across multiple product categories. Coordinates handoff dates with cross-functional partners such as buying team, visual merchandising team, copy team and photo studio team while ensuring samples are returned and passed in an organized manner. Responsible for maintaining buy plan with detailed notes for each sample while acting with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines. Ensure copy is written for each sample prior to photo shoot. Provide weekly recap of missing samples during business review meetings.
Coordinates with studio manager to scheduled photo shoots for respective product categories and monthly photo shoots for emails/site content, product launches. Prepares samples for each shoot by steaming, stuffing and removing tickets in an organized manner. Responsible during photo shoots to dress models, hang and re-ticket all samples and assist stylist. Clean and organize the set after each photo shoot. Responsible after each photo shoot to coordinate with studio team to ensure each sample shot has been submitted to retouching. Follow up with the photo studio team on images that have not been uploaded and communicates all image issues to photo studio team for correction prior pushing product live on the website.
Maintain pushing styles live for respective product categories while ensuring each style is taxed properly and all merchandising attributes are correct. Visually merchandise website for respective product categories based on selling, inventory, merchandising initiatives, and business needs under the guidance of the associate merchandiser and merchandiser. Work directly with the associate merchandiser to create and merchandise pages to align with email and website content. Trigger site content to align with key merchandising and promotional initiatives. Ensure each content banner is linking correctly and accurately displayed on the website. Work directly with merchandiser to ensure correct pricing is reflected on the website.
