Marketers on PepsiCo’s eCommerce team are entrepreneurial leaders navigating the online landscape and developing new capabilities and experiences from scratch to impact path to purchase. On the PepsiCo eCommerce team, you’ll experiment with different tactics to transform traditional brands for the digital era, owning and executing omni-channel marketing plans for a full portfolio of snacks and beverages. With a team of more than 250 associates and offices in Manhattan, Chicago, Plano, and Silicon Valley, PepsiCo has been laser focused on meeting consumer needs and winning in the marketplace. We’re seeking an eComm Marketing Manager to be a key catalyst for continued omnichannel growth at Walmart. Cross-functional collaboration with Shopper Marketing, Sales, Product, and Strategy teams is paramount to be successful along with being a thought-leader for PepsiCo’s largest customer.

In this role you will have several distinct responsibilities and priorities:
What a PepsiCo eComm Marketing Manager does:
- Lead the development of marketing strategies and plans to drive our Walmart business, meet sales objectives and contribute to a mutually beneficial strategic partnership with Walmart.
- Partner closely with our Sales and Shopper Marketing teams to identify key businesses and challenges, and develop commercially minded strategies that deliver business results.
- Partner closely with the Paid Search team to strategize and execute marketing campaigns that drive high incremental return for the PepsiCo business at Walmart.
- Manage complex relationship with Walmart’s in-house media sales team—Walmart Connect—by setting Search priorities, advocating for various stakeholders’ best interests and finding creative solutions to key business and partnership problems
- Partner with eCommerce Product, Engineering, and Marketing Analytics teams to develop sophisticated data and campaign management tools and evolve campaign measurement models for Search.
- Partner with eCommerce Business Unit leads across Beverages and Foods to support all interactions with brand teams, including funding, aligning eComm marketing plans with brand priorities, working through execution and communicating results back to brand teams.
- Instill a performance marketing mindset with the team by setting clear KPIs and managing a reporting process to effectively measure eComm marketing performance
- Oversight of PepsiCo @ Walmart Search budget; partner with Marketing Finance Lead to solve budget issues as they arise.

Qualifications:
- Marketing expertise—minimum of 7 years of experience leading the development and execution of digital marketing programs and media plans
- In-depth working knowledge and hands on experience with marketing programs across digital channels (display, search, email, social, mobile), with a heavy emphasis or interest in Paid Search
- eCommerce and performance marketing mindset—understands how to leverage marketing tactics to target shoppers throughout the funnel to drive conversion
- Understanding of data and strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to own and drive improvement of marketing and business KPIs, particularly in a complex, multi-stakeholder and fluid environment
- Technical understanding with ability to work with product, engineering and data teams to advocate for and shepherd new industry-leading capabilities
- Problem-solving capabilities with ability to find feasible solutions to complex problems, especially in an environment with incomplete information and tight timelines
- Ability to manage / drive agenda and thinking with functional reports in a matrixed and virtual environment
- Strong ability to influence and work with others to effectively navigate matrixed organization while ensuring that necessary stakeholders are informed
- Strong communication skills with an ability to educate and influence cross-functional teams, key stakeholders and external partners regarding the opportunity in this unique channel
- High level of intellectual curiosity and interest in technology trends and advancements
