Acting as the “face of UNFI” with key partners and drives discussions with senior technical leaders in those organizations. Uses strategic thinking regarding business, product, and technical challenges and maps the intersection of partner needs and company priorities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Be the subject matter expert related to EDI and other B2B technologies.
• Works cross functionally to review and document current state processes, review proposed solutions and offer alternatives to rectify gaps and pain points
• Validates solutions built by other team members and offer guidance on the implementation of best practices
• Supports the creation and maintenance of process documentation for smoother hyper care and Ops transitions
• Mentor, coach and assist with providing training to other resources in the EDI / B2B space
• Conduct research and recommend changes in services and products, protocols and standards to support development efforts

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education/Certification:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred

Experience:

• 10+ years of experience with EDI implementation and maintenance. Specifically, working with integration development tools for EDI mapping and business process modeling (IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Sterling File Gateway or other comparable tools)
• 7+ years of experience with EDI communications (Direct, VAN, AS2, FTP, SFTP, HTTPS)
• 7+ years of demonstrable experience with EDI preferably developing and supporting X12 maps (850, 855, 856, 810, 812, 879, 889 etc.) using IBM Sterling B2B Integrator or similar tool.
• Demonstrated EDI configuration experience, including partner profile setup and business process modeling
• Advanced experience EDI inbound and outbound interface functionality and developing and supporting interfaces for different business processes
• Strong functional knowledge of EDI standards such as ANSI X12
• Strong experience in manufacturing and distribution environment
