We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with 10+ years of experience for the design of building Electrical systems for various building types (i.e. Healthcare, Higher Education.)

Position Summary

Design of Electrical Systems, to include …

• Medium and low voltage power distribution
• Emergency power generation and distribution
• Lighting systems
• Low Voltage Systems, including Fire Alarm, Nurse Call, Security, and TeleCommunications
• Short Circuit and Coordination Studies

Additional Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Interact with a multi-disciplinary engineering team to review, define, and design to meet customer requirements
• Management of projects internally.
• Develop Client Relationships
• Mentor junior staff
• Some travel will be required to meet with Clients and field survey existing conditions.

Education
Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.

Credentials
P.E. certification required.

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in the design of building electrical systems for various building types. Healthcare design and Higher Education/Institutional experience is required.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with SKM software
• Proficiency with AGI 32 software
• Proficiency in Revit is strongly desired
• Committed to continuous learning and staying abreast of developments in the field
• Familiarity with regulatory standards
• Strong electrical aptitude and problem solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment
• Must be highly organized and self-motivated
• Willing to adapt as necessary to support changing business needs.
