Schedule:
- Monday – Thursday (10 hour shift)
- 2nd (2:25pm-12:55am)
- 3rd (8:00pm-6:30am)
- New Hire training on first shift (6:00am-2:30pm) M-F
Job Type: Full-time, Electro-Mechanicall Assembler
Pay: From $47,800.00 per year
The Electro-Mechanical Assembler must have an Associate’s Degree in electro-mechanical technology or a Maintenance Certificate and/or equivalent experience or training. This position requires knowledge of Electrical Theory and usage of NEC and NFPA 79 in the assembly of machines with AC and DC circuits. Candidates must be computer literate and capable of reading engineering drawings to assemble, rebuild, and repair electrical components of machinery for CMD products. Must possess basic knowledge of oscilloscope and have tools required to perform daily routines.
The Electro-Mechanical Assembler's responsibilities include the ability to set up and operate a variety of power tools (such as drill press, band saw and stud welder), to assist in the assembly of machines and components. The position coordinates with engineering personnel and makes changes as required to update print packages and applies electronic theory and mechanical ability to layout, build, test, troubleshoot, repair and modify equipment. Connects components and routes wires between individual components, using connectors, terminals, soldering and other wiring procedures. Verifies alignment and tolerances of moving parts using measuring instruments such as dial indicators and thickness gauges, ensures proper operation and alignment of mechanical components such as belts, air cylinders, indexing units, drums photo-eyes, limit switches and solenoid valves.
