POSITION SUMMARY: Plans and coordinates ongoing energy efficiency projects for ERRP program to include assisting eligible customers in need of emergency heat, (and/or cooling if eligible), with the repair or replacement of malfunctioning or non-operable units. Acts as liaison to develop partnerships which enhance program capacity.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinates the work activities of the Emergency Repair and Replacement contractors acrossmultiple ongoing projects.
2. Maintains working knowledge of agency and programs available to further assist clients throughother community programs.
3. Completes all required data entry and reporting per program and agency requirements.
4. Develops network of contractors for work required by the program.
5. Conducts post-inspections to ensure work completed per programmatic guidelines.
6. Educates customers on the Emergency Repair and Replacement Program's processes, includingmaintaining optimal energy efficiency following home modifications.
7. Partners with neighboring weatherization programs to ensure program-eligible clients receive thebenefits of both programs with minimal service duplication.
8. Performs programmatic tasks including outreach to the community, review and approval ofapplications, data entry, coordination with other contractors, and conducting post-inspections.
9. Monitors program expenditures and completes monthly reports summarizing monthly activity tosupervisor.
10. Performs all other duties as assigned or requested.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no direct supervisory duties but assists in the recruitment/selection process for new hires, employee training, evaluation, and conflict resolution. Promotes an environment of teamwork and cooperation and is accessible to employees.

ROLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience Requirements
  • No formal education is required but must be able to follow standard practices and instructions, keep routine records and communicate with staff and customers
  • Must take the Lead Safe Weatherization Course within six months of hire date
  • Must obtain OSHA 10 Certification within six months of hire date
  • Must take the Retrofit Installer Technician Course within six months of hire date
  • Must complete the HVAC Fundamentals Course
  • Must complete the Crew Leader Course

  • Ability to problem solve in the field

  • Microsoft Office products and on-line client management systems
  • Problem-solving, arithmetic calculations
  • Ability to effectively communicate in a professional manner, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to de-escalate and handle high stress situations

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Construction setting; exposure to extreme heat or cold; should dress appropriately for setting.
  • Frequent work in cramped working spaces, performing awkward motions in different positions.
  • Frequently kneeling, crouching, stooping, bending, twisting, and crawling.
  • Occasional exposure to high places such as attics and roof tops
  • The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
  • The ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull, or carry objects.
  • Lifting up to 75 lbs.
Backgrounds Checks:
  • All employees are subject to both a pre-hire and an annual background check. Specific rules by Line of Business will indicate whether a state or federal fingerprint background check (or both) is required and the frequency. A fingerprint background check may suffice for a regular background check. Additional background checks may be required such as the Child Abuse and Neglect State Registry, and the Sex Offender Registry.

  • Telamon Corporation/Transition Resources employees that are required to drive a personal vehicle for work-related duties are to meet the auto insurance liability requirement. The minimum limits required are $100,000 each person bodily injury, $300,000 each accident bodily injury and $50,000 property damage. The insurance liability requirement covers use of an employee's personal vehicle.
  • Telamon Corporation/Transition Resources employees that drive a company-owned/rental vehicle must maintain a satisfactory annual motor vehicle record check.
  • Must have own transportation, a valid driver's license, and vehicle insurance.
