REQUIREMENTS
Minimum one-year emergency/urgent care experience required or college education equivalent.
Maintains BCLS certification.
EMT licensure preferred.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Must possess the ability to evaluate the criticality of patient needs.
Must possess superior customer relation skills.

Recognizes and reports pertinent change in health care status of patients to a registered nurse.
Communicates with families concerning patients and provides support as needed.

Observes, records and reports pertinent information accurately and promptly.
Assists other health care professionals with procedures.
Maintains confidentiality of patient information.
Utilizes standard precautions and applies infection control procedures employing medical asepsis principles.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
