BRG is seeking an Engagement Lead for their Healthcare Transactions and Strategy (HTS) practice. The role involves coordinating and supporting an interdisciplinary team of federal and state policy experts, data analytics experts and healthcare compliance experts as they execute transactional diligence projects. All projects are healthcare focused and are completed on rapid timelines. This position will require a highly motivated problem solver with strong analytical ability, solid organizational skills, a desire to solve client problems and lead the internal team. The position is client facing so strong speaking and writing skills are crucial. Knowledge of the healthcare industry and healthcare policy are required.

BRG’s Healthcare Transactions and Strategy practice provides clients valuable insight throughout the transaction process and to inform strategic initiatives. The team includes former policymakers and regulatory professionals from the executive branch, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services/Health and Human Services and the White House, as well as from Capitol Hill, trade associations, and state governments. With deep M&A buy-side experience, our professionals provide an integrated deliverable across capabilities including regulatory and reimbursement, primary market research, strategy, data analytics, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the full lifecycle of new client engagements including project schedule, budget, and deliverables.
  • Oversee all client reporting and communications throughout the phases of the project.
  • Ensure all projects are executed in a manner that is consistent with HTS procedures.
  • Own client-facing and internal summaries of client meetings, including key decisions and action items.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field;
  • Minimum two to six (2-6) years of experience in healthcare industry;
  • Experience managing or leading working groups with internal and external interactions;
  • Strong writing and speaking skills;
  • Highly detail-oriented and very well organized; and
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dead-line driven environment that can constantly evolve.
