Your Role and Responsibilities

Throughout your career, you’ll work as part of a diverse team to support our clients as they use our systems to outthink the competition. You’ll learn the fundamentals of mainframe computing and will master skills like; deploying and managing operating systems, implementing monitoring, configuration management, and reporting, executing change management, implementing system security, coding JCL, and writing simple REXX programs. Our program will give you the opportunity to build your skills to grow your career as a Mainframe System Programmer.

If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the compensation range for the position, $47,000 - $74,000 is based on a full-time schedule. If you're hired into New York City work location the compensation range for the position, $52,000 - $81,000. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Willingness to complete the requirements and assignments within entry level service skills through mentoring
  • 0 – 2 years work experience in a customer-oriented role

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

  • An Associate’s degree in Computer Science or other related discipline is preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of basic program languages
  • Propensity to learn formally and informally
  • Ability to network with others on complex projects and challenges
