The KC-46A Tanker program is seeking an Entry Level Systems Engineer who is focused on providing the United States Air Force (USAF) customer its refueling needs around the globe. This position is located in Everett, WA.
The candidate will be a part of the Systems Engineering Integration Team (SEIT). The SEIT engineering team is activities consist of overall systems engineering, requirements management, functional integration/architecture, and verification/validation for the USAF. This role will primarily focus on the development of future KC-46 airplanes, including customer requested contract modifications, international customers (Japan, Israel, etc) and next generation tankers (Pegasus Combat Capabilities).

Position Responsibilities:
Participates in analysis of customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrates technical parameters and assures compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Assists with operational and functional analysis applied to requirements for new aerospace products, systems and hardware.
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to assist with analyses, design, development and verification of a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Participates in integration across cross-functional value stream teams & key stakeholders to ensure the execution of the design, implementation, test & validation of the overall solution using project management best practices.
This position is 100% Onsite. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor's of Science degree or higher from an accredited course of study in an engineering discipline, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.Able to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, and able to multi-task and manage expectation.
Critical thinking skills, attention to detail, positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with DOORS and Cameo
Engineering experience or related coursework with modeling and simulation of complex systems
Experience in integrated technical planning, requirements and functional analysis, requirements management and verification.
Operational or design knowledge of airplanes and airplane systems.
Experience in requirements and verification development and tracing.
Typical Education / Experience:
Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Relocation: This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.
Shift: 1st shift.

Summary pay range: $73,100 – $98,900
