The Enviromental Services Assistant is responsible for maintaining and repairing physical structures and utility systems of building and maintaining grounds, installing, servicing and repairing mechanical equipment.

• Assists in the implementation of a preventive maintenance program for all equipment in the community.
• Responsible for maintenance of drains, access areas, grease traps, garbage cans, cooling tower and mechanical rooms.
• Assists with grounds maintenance.
• Investigates mechanical breakdowns and failures of machinery and equipment to determine cause and prevent reoccurrence by a preventive maintenance program.
• Repairs emergency breakdowns in shortest possible time and performs regular after hours "on-call" duties as scheduled.
