Job description
Own the management of the stock plan administration processes including the support of accounting, tax, legal and financial forecasting activities. Provide equity-related support to the executive compensation function including management of special programs and initiatives, assessment of program effectiveness, and process improvement initiatives. Serves as primary liaison with equity administration vendor.
Acts as a resource to participants and internal and external business partners providing them with complete and accurate stock plan administration information. In addition to basic stock plan administration activities, support equity needs for partners in the accounting, payroll, people services and legal departments.
Administers all aspects of the equity programs, including maintenance of data (e.g., new hires, terminations, etc.) in the equity system, and ensuring all participant equity plan transactions (grants, exercises, releases, forfeitures, etc.) are correctly processed and settled in a timely manner. Will work closely with internal departments and third-party consultants to address any issues or changes to the equity plans and related administration processes.
Performs routine audits to ensure that all data (grants, lapses, forfeitures, etc.) have been processed timely and correctly. Adheres to all SOX and other established controls, reviewing and updating controls as needed. Reconciles shares related to stock plan transactions on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis with accounting, the transfer agent and brokers, including audit of plan reserve balances.
Represents the equity program(s) in all communications with external vendor partners and internal partners in other departments and eligible participants, answering questions and proactively leading communication efforts for equity programs.
Provides table values, footnotes and other related data to assist in the preparation of required SEC filings including the Proxy.
Provides support for other ad hoc analyses.
Develop and maintain internal process and procedure documentation for equity administration.
Identify and implement process improvements to the equity administration function and systems capabilities to enhance efficiency, productivity and employee experience.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from 4-year college or university and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of related experience.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Certified Equity Professional (CEP) preferred.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret business documents. Ability to effectively respond to sensitive issues, complex inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers, supervisor and/or management. Ability to motivate employees and client groups to take desired action.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Ability to perform basic mathematical functions including percentages, discounts and commissions.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to analyze and interpret considerable data in varying circumstances and provide solutions to varying unique challenges.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office
Extensive knowledge of all pertinent tax regulations, reporting and compliance requirements.
Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment especially during peak periods.
Strong attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
