Current Need
The McKesson SVP: Emerging Pharmacy Channels, SVP: Independent National Accounts, and VP: Support Solutions are seeking a highly experienced Executive Administrative Assistant in Irving TX.
Position Description
- Provides or leads a full range of secretarial/administrative support to multiple Senior Vice Presidents of the organization, exercising confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy
- Communicates directives and information from the SVP to executives, managers and others in the organization and follows up on the status of assignments
- Receives, screens, and directs incoming calls, visitors, mail, and email
- Maintains files, records, calendars, and diaries; typically arranges business travel, coordinates meeting arrangements and tracks expenses
- Participates in the development and implementation of secretarial/administrative standards, policies, and practices for the organization
Key Responsibilities
- Extensive calendaring, off-site meeting planning, travel arrangements, and other core administrative tasks
- Collecting and preparing information for use in meetings
- Preparing presentations and reports
- Making high level contacts of a sensitive nature inside and outside the company
- Preparing and processing expense reports
- Managing special projects on behalf of the department
- Outlining drafts and finalizing correspondence
- Handling details of a highly confidential and critical nature
Minimum Requirements
- Typically requires 6+ years of related work experience.
Critical Skills
- Experience in a customer facing role
- Thorough knowledge of administrative support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage complex projects efficiently and effectively
- Ability to independently draft memos, letters, and general correspondence for senior-level management
- Ability to investigate and solve a variety of issues by employing considerable judgment, initiative and consistent follow up for complete and quick resolution
- Self-starter with superb follow up and attention to detail
- Strong event planning and management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills – proven ability to build successful and effective relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
- High level of technical proficiency and computer literacy with excellent command of technology and software particularly Microsoft Office Suite including – Excel (spreadsheets), Word (word processing), Outlook (scheduling), and PowerPoint (presentations)
- Ability to work under general direction on multiple tasks with demanding and competing timelines
- Uses discretion and maintains the highest level of confidentiality

- Attention to detail and flawless execution
