- Atomic Transport, Nashville, TN, is hiring. Our shop is located in Murfreesboro, TN
- Atomic Transport is a leader in the Bulk Waste Hauling Industry.
- Atomic transport has 25 terminals all throughout the South-East and Mid-West.
- We continue to grow year after year.
- Atomic Transport operates a fleet of over 350 tractors and 600 trailers! Our fleet consists of Kenworths, Freightliners, and Macks. These trucks are powered by the Cummins X15, MP-8 and DD-13 powerplants.
- Atomic Transport is actively bringing on our next batch of 2023 Titan tipper trailers along with 2023 MAC tipper trailer, live floor trailers, and tanker trailers.
Atomic Transport Safety Information:
- We require a pre-employment background check.
- We conduct pre-employment and yearly MVR checks.
- We require a pre-employment drug screen.
- We conduct random drug screens within the FMCSA compliance guidelines.
Diesel mechanic’s benefits:
- Hourly pay up to $35/hr., based on experience, tools, and certifications.

Job Requirements:
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 years’ experience as a diesel mechanic.
- Valid driver’s license is required, CDL-A is a plus.
- Ability to work early morning and evening.
Diesel Mechanic’s Responsibilities:
- Perform minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers.
- Knowledge of Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems.
- Knowledge of engine diagnostic software.
- Conduct regular maintenance and service trucks.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Diagnose problems and plan repairs.
- Perform road-side service calls.
- Perform regular diagnostic tests on trucks.
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
- Must have own basic hand tools.
- Specialty and larger tools will be provided.
