The Bess Agency & Associates of American Family Insurance is looking for a positive, motivated individual to join their championship team as a full time Family Risk Advisor in Chesterfield, MO.

Salary Range: $35000.00 - $50000.00 per year

Compensation & Benefits:
- A successful candidate will make over $45,000 with base, commission, and bonus
- Base Salary is $35,000

Responsibilities
Service Related:
- Rate Changes
- Claims issues
- Assist with income phone calls
- Help with billing issues and policy transactions
- Conduct Personal Insurance Reviews
- Other items to deliver outstanding customer experience
Sales Related: The Primary role of the Family Risk Advisor is to maintain our current customers. Here are a few of those activities:
- Prospect new clients to bring into the agency
- Cross-sell while assisting current customers:
- Life insurance
- Commercial Insurance
- Work with customers to use technology and tools that benefit them
- Hearsay Texting
- AmFam App
- Know Your Drive
- Follow up with customers after sales to complete the sales process
- Maintain product knowledge for all lines of business and products written
- Create brokerage quotes & applications, especially those with Foremost, Vacant Express, and American Modern
Career Paths: There are two potential career paths associated with this position if the performance of the applicant merited progression over time:
1. Line Sales Manager: This person would help build a sales team and be responsible for team sales goals.
2. Future Agency Owner: If you know that you would like to run your own business with your own team but dont believe you currently have the skills or capital this is a great path. This candidate would seek their own agency (outside of markets we operate in) after a 2 to 3 year mentorship program.

Required Education & Experience
- High School Diploma
- Associate or Bachelors Degree preferred but not required
- A successful candidate must obtain property & casualty insurance licenses within agreed time of hiring offer (30 Days) & life license (90 days from original hire date)
- A candidate does not officially start until they are licensed.
