Job Title: Field Operations Manager - FGX
International - Smithfield, RI
MISSION - PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The Field Operations Manager (FOM) serves as the primary operational liaison for the Commercial team in working with our 3rd party merchandising organization. The FOM will be responsible for ensuring that all Core activities are performed on time and within budget, work with the 3rd party on Projects including time studies, and ensure that any contractual compliance issues in-store (e.g., display placement) are addressed through both Commercial efforts and those of the 3rd party. FOM’s will support specific classes of trade as contained within the SBU’s. All activities will flow through the FOM; to and from the 3rd party. In conjunction with the SBU GM, the FOM will manage budget dollars and activities. The FOM will report to the SVP of Field Services with dotted line responsibility to the SBU SVPs. The scope of retailers may change at any time as the business need arises.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure that all Service Level Agreements are met by the 3rd party merchandisers including: o Project completion o On-time visits o New store set ups o Survey responses
· Work as the primary liaison between FGX Commercial team and 3rd party on all communication regarding Core and Project work
· Review reporting to ensure that in-store time billed does not exceed agreed-upon standards
· Review actual in-store time to understand if there is an opportunity to reduce visit times based upon actuals OR that there is time to perform other activities during that time in-store
· Monitor survey results for retailer compliance on issues such as display location, displays on-floor, etc., that may be outside of contractual compliance o Take corrective action on the above by working with the SBU Commercial team and the 3rd parties to address issues.
· Continuously look for opportunities for simplification and standardization in all in-store activities that can be addressed through internal resources as well as the 3rd party
· Review SLA compliance on a quarterly basis for compliance with regard to service-level penalties assessed against the 3rd party merchandiser
· Direct the business through ongoing data review which requires developing strong knowledge base of all data tools available to ensure retail service objectives are met.
· Develop effective business partnerships with retailers on a local and/or corporate level on an as-needed basis.
· Support training for the 3rd party with regard to retailer-specific needs relating to both Core and Project needs including support of written and recorded materials.
· Create and/or distribute reporting to the Commercial team
· Act as the Subject Matter Expert on the 3rd party’s technology to help frame questions and the needed responses for store-level activities.
· Work with the GM, Commercial team and FP&A resources to determine if incremental spend of service dollars
(above and beyond stated budget) are a worthwhile investment given the ROI or as a strategic investment where needed.
· Respond to and resolve macro-level store issues with 3rd party merchandising organization.
· Communicate in an effective and timely manner with various parties both internal and external.
· Manage business expenses within the SBU to guidelines set by the GM and SVP of Operations.
· Actively participate in all assigned SBU calls and provide updates regularly
· Execute 1w1’s with SVP Retail Services and assigned SVP SBU on a mutually agreed upon cadence
· Actively partner with finance/FOM analyst to forecast upcoming period/quarter and reconcile 3PL billings against forecast - assemble material and execute period cost reviews for assigned SBU at the conclusion of each period to respective teams

LOCATION

· Position is home office-based with travel dictated based upon the need to work with the 3rd parties or for planning purposes in the Home Office.

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE
· Fluent English (both spoken and written), other language is a plus
· Bachelor degree preferred
· Strong business partnering and project management skills
· Autonomous, with strong ability to work effectively in multi-cultural, geographically dispersed, virtual teams.
· Influencing skills and project management experience in a matrix and complex organization, covering multi-region scope
· Strong leadership and excellent communication skills
Strong communication and organizational skills to facilitate coordination and execution of
all account projects.
Ability to maintain composure and tact while under intensity from multiple directions.
Proven business modelling experience using advanced MS Excel functionality (lookups,
as well as PowerPoint and Word).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
