PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily field operations at the service center

• Work with other operations supervisors, operations manager(s), other NFG departments, customers, vendors, third party contractors, and employees to coordinate and safely execute required work activities

• Safety planning, work planning, scheduling, and costing responsibilities for related work

• Supervise direct report union employees performing operating and maintenance work, emergency response, and capital replacement related work activities

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology or related. Will consider Associates degree in similar course work with related work experience

• Possess basic computer skills (email, compile reports on work activities, clearly present work products electronically, and utilize internal software systems)

• Ability to pass industry qualification training and testing, work with unionized hourly work force, direct personnel to safely complete assignments, scheduling and planning skills

• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record

• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues

• Ability to prioritize and multitask daily responsibilities

• Flexibility to cover rotating emergency assignments

• Demonstrated supervisory capability and the ability to quickly solve problems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• The ability to be self-motivated and work with minimal direct oversight is preferred.

• Experience working efficiently both independently and in a team setting is also preferred.

The rate of pay for the Field Operations Supervisor will be commensurate with experience.
