Job Responsibilities & Duties: Diagnose and repair equipment Perform preventative maintenance on customer equipment Mechanical assembly of equipment/products using such items as fasteners, nuts, rivets, hand tools, etc. Complete mechanical rebuilds and component replacements Review of equipment prior to shipping to customer. Identifying possible issues, ensuring all items are assembled and manufactured accurately to provide a smooth operation for the customer. Review drawing of facility and equipment needed with the installation manager before start of a project installation. Receive equipment onsite and review that equipment is in proper condition, all accounted for before installation process begins. Complete equipment installation timely and efficiently meeting specifications of the project sale as well as meeting installation completion deadlines. Constant communication with customer & supervisor of work in progress Thoroughly complete proper documentation of work orders recording work completed; equipment issues, diagnosis, solution, and record of time. Work collaboratively with departments within the company to improve processes, build, and delivery of product to our customers. Read and understand job orders in order to complete jobs fully and correctly. Ensure proper use of company tools and equipment to prevent premature deterioration. Follow and comply with processes and procedures while working alone or with others. Comply with all MAF safety procedures and perform tasks properly to minimize potential harm to yourself or others. Verify all safety guarding is in place an operational, document all discrepancies. Assist in customer training for operation and maintenance of specific equipment and installations
Required Experience 3+ years’ experience in general industrial; power transmission/material handling equipment Relevant industry experience in a related field. Excellent external and internal customer service skills Ability to read and interpret blue prints, schematics, and interpret technical procedures. Ability to effectively communicate information both written and verbal, and respond to questions from management, customers, and fellow co‐workers. Flexibility & Time management Industry safety practices. Personal effectiveness/credibility and teamwork oriented Ability to work under pressure and short deadlines Ability to present solutions to practical problems. Ability to work within a team collaboratively and effectively Able to drive a forklift Knowledgeable of power tools.
