We are seeking an experienced Senior FileMaker Developer to join a supportive, flexible team who is responsible for complex, mission-critical systems.
Job Description:
You will help to maintain and innovate an exceptionally sophisticated system with high performance, security, uptime, and load requirements. There will be a steep learning curve, and we will help you get there! You will help debug, improve, and build new processes, and work with team members to define, prioritize, and implement features. The position is full-time, and work will be primarily remote with bi-annual on-site visits.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the FileMaker team to maintain and improve complex systems
- Take on the maintenance of existing schema, layouts, scripts, and custom functions with a creative, positive, and disciplined mindset
- Foster long–term partnerships with Subject Matter Experts to learn and document complex business and technical processes
- Provide stellar user support via email, phone, and chat
- Participate as a member of a Scrum team using Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
Qualifications:
- 5+ years dedicated FileMaker experience
- Working on a development team
- Working with others' code and legacy standards
- Ability to perform job functions with a minimum of supervision
- Strong understanding of relational database design
- Comfortable with Windows 10/11 as a work environment
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Familiarity with SQL, APIs, and JSON is a plus
- Familiarity with plugins such as MBS is a plus
