Midland Farms is a leading wholesale dairy distributor and is currently seeking reliable, hard-working production workers for our operation. In these roles, you will be a valuable part of our production team, ensuring our production quotas are met in a timely fashion while observing the highest standards of safety and quality. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are essential. Prior experience in a production setting and familiarity with production equipment and machinery is a plus.

*Job Type: Full-time

*1st Shift and 2nd Shift Available.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required. Associates degree or higher preferred
• Successfully pass pre-employment drug screen
• 1 year maufacturing experience

Preferred Skills

• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Dairy experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read chemical labels and follow safe handling procedures for food grade products.
• Ability to accurately record data.
• Computer knowledge and skills required.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule formats.
• Ability to work with confidential information in a professional manner.
• Strong analytical skills and systematic approach to problem solving is required.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations required.
• Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel and bend required for virtually the entire shift. Occasionally required to climb or balance. Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a wet environment. Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. Exposure to nut allergens.
• Manual and vehicular transfer of materials within production areas.
• Position requires frequent lifting, reaching, climbing, pulling, stooping, bending, and kneeling.
• Maintain constant mental focus and constantly be aware of surroundings.
