Job Summary: Responsible for performing pharmacy support activities under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Job Activities and Responsibilities: Must have knowledge of and follow applicable Standard Operating Procedures. Clerk may be first point of contact for customers so it is very important that customers are greeted and assisted in a friendly and professional manner. Clerk is responsible for verifying addresses and medications, and organizing, packing, and shipping of those medications to meet timed pick-ups. Other responsibilities may include ordering and managing supplies for pharmacy operations, stocking and organizing the storage areas, and organizing and restocking inventory. Clerk shall work under the supervision of a pharmacist and is not permitted to perform duties restricted to pharmacists or technicians. Organization, time management, and attention to detail are crucial for this position.

Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma preferred. Must be a New Jersey-Licensed Pharmacy Technician. Must be able to navigate computer operating systems.

Physical requirements: Ability to use a computer keyboard, fax machine, communicate by telephone, and lift up to thirty pounds.

Reports to: Pharmacist.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
