Financial Analyst – Operational Efficiency Team – Corporate Location
Channel your top-notch reporting and data analysis skills at the nation’s largest private not-for-profit medical center, NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Financial Analyst. In this role, you will assist the Benchmarking Manager and Director of Performance Improvement by developing complex analyses and regular reporting of NYPH's Benchmarking program, including financial, productivity, and monitoring the management of expenses. This position plays a key role in advancing HERCULES, NewYork-Presbyterian’s campus-wide efficiency initiatives. Responsibilities will include producing and presenting financial performance updates for internal stakeholders, developing and maintaining large databases for reporting, reviewing and analyzing financial and operational data, and providing ad-hoc analysis for special projects.
Preferred Criteria
- Healthcare experience
Required Criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Strong excel and financial analytical experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Experience/ ability to quickly learn new systems
- Able to work independently with limited direction
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels in the organization.
- Highly analytical and detailed oriented
