Community Reach Center (CRC) is an Integrated Health Care and Trauma Informed Care Community that serves a metropolitan area in Denver, CO. The goal of our outpatient facilities are to enhance social, emotional, and mental well-being of children, adolescents, adults and families. These facilities allow CRC to serve consumers in a least restrictive environment and an atmosphere that promotes growth and recovery.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepares and cooks food in quantities according to menu, recipes and number of persons to be served.
• Serves meals to consumers during designated time periods.
• Cleans equipment and work area after meals are served. Cleans dining room after each meal is served when necessary.
• Efficiently and orderly stocks departments with dry goods. Receives and stores food orders from approved vendors.
• Provide snacks for consumers according to designated serving schedule.
• Helps Facilities and Support Services in organizing frozen food and pantry items that need to be delivered.
• Attends and participates in staff meetings, training classes and supervision.
• Adheres to Policies and Procedures.
• Adheres to Community Reach Center’s Code of Conduct as well as ethical standards of the field.
• Performs other such duties as assigned within the scope of the position and program description, as well as those reflective of their experience, education and ability.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required
• Valid Colorado driver's license required
• Food Safety & Handling certified - will complete upon hire
• 1 year or more experience or training in food services
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Excellent skills working with Microsoft programs such as word, excel, power point, and outlook.
• Knowledge and education on nutrition, including nutrition related to consumers experiencing withdrawal from substances.
