Job description
Background & Purpose of the Job: To bring joy and excitement to consumers by providing the highest quality Ice Cream through inspired innovation while reacting to market changes quickly. This position is responsible for safely loading the correct product and correct amount of product onto the designated truck. Individuals in this position are also responsible for ensuring all products are in perfect condition before shipping or receiving.
Location of the job: Sikeston, MO
What You’ll Do:
- Accurately set up for production line startup and record issues supplies onto pick slips
- Respond when machine calls for materials and record materials supplied. Have materials set up in time for changeovers to different products
- Return unused materials at the end of the run and accurately tally the results onto the pack slips
- Perform proper maintenance of freezer equipment to ensure machinery is operating correctly and effectively
- Handle all warehouse functions including unloading trucks, stocking floor, accurately count and record inventory, keep area clean and haul materials
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in extreme temperatures
- Handle 55-gallon drums of liquid with a hand truck
- Load and push supply carts holding up to 300 lbs. of materials
- Ability to work various hours and shifts, with overtime as needed
