DESCRIPTION

Under the supervision of the Practice Manager/Supervisor, the Front Desk Coordinator is responsible for providing excellent patient service, registration, appointment scheduling, insurance verification, ensuring insurance authorization for every visit or follow cash pay policy and collection of copays. Ability to accurately following verbal and written policy and guidelines. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of three (3) years recent related experience.

  • Strong problem-solving ability by using good judgment and applying these skills to assist customers and ensure customers' expectations are met.

  • Proven ability to work in an interactive environment and possess excellent customer service skills both in person and over phone.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

  • Proficiency using Microsoft Applications i.e., Outlook, Word, share point, and Teams. Proven computer skills and be able to work between multiple systems during calls.

  • Self-starter who is accountable and requires minimal direction and supervision; a person who is open to new ideas; and a creative and flexible individual who is comfortable working in a large, complex organization.

  • Possess the personal characteristics of professionalism, credibility, commitment to high standards, innovation, discriminating judgment and accountability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • EPIC experience.
  • Call Center experience.
  • Private practice experience.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
  • Employment is subject to a criminal background check and pre-employment physical.
