Full Charge Bookkeeper Position
Reporting directly to the CFO, this high-visibility position has influence across multiple client projects at Strategies Now. Day-to-day responsibilities will typically include accounting and transaction entry, financial statement and report preparation, and account analysis. You will have significant exposure to senior leaders and directly contribute to multiple clients’ financial understanding and performance. Specifically, you will be the accountant responsible for entities in healthcare (DME) and education. A proactive or entrepreneurial spirit will be useful as you will be encouraged to influence decision making and improve company outcomes. The position is currently filled by an employee retiring in April 2023; your side-by-side work with him beginning in March 2023 will provide significant learning opportunities and an uncommon entry point into a new position.
Responsibilities:
- Recording and paying accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconciling cash and bank accounts
- Creating financial statements and related financial reports
- Preparing asset, liability, and capital account entries.
- Creating reporting for senior leadership, including a weekly cash projection.
- Maintaining an accurate general ledger, recording adjustments as needed.
- Reconciling financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
- Securing or preparing supporting documentation for GL entries
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.

- Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel
- Microsoft Dynamics GP
- QuickBooks
- Salesforce.com
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
