Full Stack Developer I

Location: Onsite – Offutt AFB, NE

Schedule: Full Time

OVERVIEW

Caribou Thunder is seeking a Full Stack Developer I to support a national defense contract at Offutt AFB, NE. Candidates will work on-site in a Top Secret environment to develop custom applications as well as integrate commercial and government capabilities into DoD products.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

• 
  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline plus 1 year of Java development experience

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop full-stack Java based web applications
• Work in an Agile DevSecOps team environment
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines
• Work with microservice architecture

QUALIFICATIONS

• Java and JavaScript (Ext JS, React/Angular/Vue), CSS, and HTML
• Experience with containerization and deployment tools such as Kubernetes, Istio, Podman or similar applications.
• Experience with automated security scanning tools such as OpenSCAP, SonarQube or similar applications
• Experience with database integration and technologies such as SQL
• Messaging Middleware and event-driven data architectures (Kafka, JMS)
• Object-Oriented Design, Model-based engineering

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Familiarity with development tooling such as Eclipse, Jenkins, GitLab, Gradle, GIT, JUnit, Selenium, JIRA
• Direct Experience with Open Container Initiative (OCI) Compliance
• Spring Framework (SpringBoot, WebFlux, WebMvc, SpringSecurity)
• Object/Relational Mapping Framework (Hibernate) and SQL
