Job description
The Cole County Sheriff’s Department is seeking highly motivated individuals for the position of full time Detention Officer with a starting salary at $42,000. Salary is accompanied by an employee benefits package, which includes health, life, and dental insurance, paid holidays and vacation, and retirement benefits to include CERF, Lagers, and deferred compensation currently matching 50% on the dollar up to 6%.
Applicants must meet the following criteria: 21 yrs old, possess a valid Missouri Drivers License, type 25 wpm, take a written test, pass a background check, drug test, polygraph, and be willing to work various shifts and flexible hours.
