We are seeking experienced individuals who have built and led successful face-to-face canvassing/fundraising operations to take over our Children International campaign in our Portland office, in the position of Field Director.

You will oversee our Children International campaign, inspiring a team of canvassers to connect with the public and to gather life-changing donations be face-to-face canvassing, participating in conversations with people about how their support will help provide relief from the cycle of poverty. You will be the one inspiring others to take meaningful, lasting action through regular contributions to Children International.

Responsibilities
We recruit and organize people and voices for incredible nonprofit organizations like Children International. Face-to-face fundraising is one of the fastest growing sectors for small donor monthly engagement in nonprofit fundraising. Your primary duties will be to:

• Be a Top Fundraiser setting the pace for your team.
• Manage an entire section of 10+ fundraisers.
• Build monthly support: As a manager, our top priority is securing quality monthly support for the organizations we partner with.
• Ensure donor security: Strict adherence to internal security protocols to protect donor data.
• Train, mentor and develop new and veteran staff through morning warm-ups, role-plays, ongoing infield trainings and modeling exceptional fundraising behaviors.
• Understand motivation factors and drive the team to successfully meeting performance metrics.

• Experience Team Leading/Canvass Directing experience strongly preferred, but we will consider individuals with a year plus canvassing experience with demonstrated consistency, quality and volume (2+ a day average)
• Street Canvassing/Fundraising experience required
• Strong Verbal Communication Skills. (English is required, bilingual is a plus)
• The unshakeable belief that one person can change the world.
• Understand that this is an outdoor job. We work rain or shine.
• No fear of quota.
• The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Goal orientated, positive, and passionate about fundraising.
• Comfortable engaging with members of the public in public places.

Pay and Benefits
Benefits of working with Genuine Engagement Fundraising:

• Pay starts at $55,000 + uncapped bonus pay.
