In need of a General Manager Looking for Something Different

As a General Manager at our Long-Term Care Pharmacy in Columbus, Ohio, you will work in an exciting, dynamic, and energizing environment. In this role, you will be an integral leader of the pharmacy team, as you lead the coordination of the pharmacy management's goals and objectives within the dispensing pharmacy. Your success will be driven by your ability to lead and foster a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and service.

General Manager Qualifications

• At least five (5) years of experience as a General Manager in a high-volume long-term care pharmacy
• Hands on operational experience with a focus on operational excellence
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

General Manager Responsibilities

• Effectively manage all areas of production in the pharmacy.
• Responsible for monitoring production efficiencies and adhering to labor budgets.
• Implements quality assurance programs.
• Implements policies and procedures for the procurement, storage, security and disposition of drugs and devices.
• Implements policies and procedures for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of prescription information and patient health care information, and ensures that all employees of the pharmacy read, sign, and comply with the established policies and procedures.
• Ensures pharmacy is in compliance with all local, state, and federal accrediting rules and regulations regarding the practice of pharmacy.
• Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned.
