Geotechnical Field Technician (Entry Level) (Willing to Train)
Location: Denver, CO
Pay: $18.00/hr to $20.00/hr
Job Type: Full Time - (Contract-to-Hire) - Monday though Friday and some Saturdays

Description:

Ripple Effect Consulting is seeking hard-working, motivated, individuals who are interested in finding their next long-term career move within the Geotechnical Engineering field. Previous experience in Geology, Geo-sciences, Construction Management, Construction, Utilities, Landscaping, General Labor, or Warehouse is preferred, but not required, as these positions are Entry Level and training will be provided for the right candidate. Our company culture focuses on employee development; you'll receive hands-on training directly from the management team to ensure proper guidance about geotechnical testing and how to become certified in this high demand trade.

Details:

• Contract-to-Hire
• Pay: $18.00/hr to $20.00/hr to start (pay raises with completed certifications)
• Certifications Typically Obtained: ACI, WAQTC, Nuke Gauge, OSHA
• Overtime: Typically 10 hours of OT a week during summer months

Responsibilities:

• Testing construction materials on construction sites
• Performing slump and air tests on newly poured concrete for quality assurance purposes
• Performing density and moisture tests on soils and asphalts
• Driving a company vehicle to and from job sites

Qualifications:

• Clean Driving Record
• Over the age of 21
• Clean BGC and Drug Test
• 1 year of construction experienced (preferred but not necessary)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime
• Weekend availability

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
