Mission Inn located in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida is looking for a Golf Coruse Superintendent. This is an opportunity to work at one the top rated and oldest golf courses in the state. The Golf Course Superintendent, under the guidance of the Director of Landscape and Golf Maintenance, is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the golf course. The responsibilities include turf grass/plant material maintenance programs, property/asset management, personnel management, member relations, scheduling/maintenance of irrigation systems, pesticide applications, related recordings and compliance of regulatory issues. The Golf Course Superintendent works to create an environment where staff is involved and enthusiastic, with open communications and respect for themselves.

If you have at least two (2) years as an assisstant or supervisor on a golf course; have a valid drivers liscense alogn with knowledge of the Toro Irrigattion System, this could be the job for you! The ideal candidate will have knowledge of management and maintenance of greens, fairways and roughts; the ability and knowlege to lay out irrigatin patterns, drainage patterns, contsstruct tees and/or greens and possess the necessary communication skills to manage a grounds maintenance team.
