Frazer, a leading builder of emergency medical vehicles, is currently seeking a Graphics Installer to join our team. The Graphics Installer at Frazer reports to the Chassis & Paint Production Manager, and is responsible for applying vinyl graphics to EMS modules meeting both quality and time expectations for the graphics application team. Activities include measuring, cutting, laminating, and applying vinyl material to painted EMS modules. Also includes but is not limited to removal of existing vinyl.

What Does a Week in the Life of the Graphics Installer Look Like?

• Preparing the conspicuity material by first taking measurements of the area to be covered and then cutting it with a rotary cutter.
• Installation of vinyl material on EMS modules and/or other vehicle types. This involves measuring and/or estimating (where called for by the supervisor.) It also involves preparing the surface so that it will optimally accept vinyl material.
• Installation involves layout, position and alignment of cut graphics and stripe on the vehicle using a tape measure and a squeegee. Installer may or may not have a “blueprint” (Photo) to work from; refer to supervisor. In some instances a “wet” application using a solution is used for better positioning of cut graphics.
• Cleaning up any leftover marks and glue, and cleanup of the area of paper, tape, tags.
• Observing and following safety and security procedures; Reporting potentially unsafe conditions; Using equipment and materials properly.
• Consistently at work and on time; Ensuring work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arriving at meetings and appointments on time.

Oh, and $alary

Of course, we didn't forget the salary… Frazer offers competitive pay and this role starts with a salary between $15.00 and $20.00 per hour depending on education, certifications, and experience.

Work Schedule

Graphics Installer will work from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday to Friday with overtime worked as needed. Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
