Harry Potter: Magic at Play, Sales Associate – Chicago, IL

THE ROLE:

Creative Goods Merchandise, a dynamic full-service merchandising company, is currently seeking Retail Sales Associates for the upcoming HARRY POTTER: MAGIC AT PLAY experience. This experiential attraction is scheduled to begin operation on or around October 24th, 2022 (dates subject to change), with mandatory training to begin on or around October 24th, 2022. This experience is currently scheduled through May 14th, 2023, but is subject to change. We are looking for passionate candidates who exhibit the core values of excellence, commitment to safety and value a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

· Greet patrons and process all merchandise transactions

· Maintain working knowledge of products and prices

· Ensure lines are managed while maintaining enthusiasm and poise

· Receive, process, and replenish merchandise inventory

· Communicate effectively with managers and colleagues and support a positive work environment

General Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred
• Strong basic math skills required
• Be able to engage with customers, team members, and management positively
• Maintain enthusiasm, charisma, and focus
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Entertainment experience/interest is desired, but not necessary

Working Conditions

• Ability to climb ladders and safely install display elements
• Ability to maneuver stairs
• Must be able to stand for long periods
• Must be able to lift 50lbs

Job Types: Seasonal, Sales

Pay Rate: $17/hr
