The Syndication Officer (“SD”) will support the commercial real estate lending (“CRE”) & Middle Market (“MMK”) business through structuring and distributing loans. The SD is responsible for loan servicing, monitoring and timely funding of loan proceeds. The SD will closely monitor reporting requirements and manage information flow to the participants.

Duties and responsibilities include:

• Review initial underwriting and structure for deals being internally screened
• Complete internal syndication memos and recommendations
• Manage syndication deal pipeline
• Prepare marketing materials and efficiently administer data
• Oversee legal document negotiation balancing client needs with market terms
• Coordinate with closing department to a ensure smooth closing
• Develop a book of business
• Dialogue with lenders on a regular basis to develop real time knowledge of market conditions and lenders’ perspectives
• Develop relationships with other lenders and clients
• Broaden CRE Syndications reach to new local markets with new lenders
• Attend industry events within the markets we operate
• Create, Review and update list of qualified partners
• Service and monitor loans and ensure accurate and timely funding
• Closely monitor reporting requirements and due dates
• Post via secure file-sharing website all documentation (financial statements, operating reports, rent rolls, renewals).
• Maintain and manage information flow on file-sharing site

Minimum Education and/or Certifications Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Required

Minimum Work Experience Requirements:
4+ years’ experience in RE lending field, credit analysis/underwriting of real estate projects.

Technical and/or Other Essential Knowledge:
Proficiency using Microsoft Office 365 products including, Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Teams, and MS PowerPoint
