Essential Functions


Provide coverage for all calls and emails from end users to Information Technology Help Desk during designated hours.


Troubleshoot basic computer software, hardware and peripheral issues.


Log, document, and resolve or refer technical questions and problems.


Coordinate with other IT personnel to resolve problems requiring escalation to next level of support. Update end users on status of problem resolution.


Acquire working knowledge of computer software, hardware and peripherals in order to support end users.


Associate's degree preferred with a major in Information Technology or related field


Combination of education and years of computer-related experience may be substituted for degree


Experience

Preferred
  • Less than 2 year(s): Previous help desk experience preferred

Preferred
  • Associates or better in Information Technology or related field
