Job description

This role will be responsible for providing activities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents/patients under the direction of the assigned LPN/LVN or RN.

• Create and maintain effective relations with staff, residents, visitors. Assists in providing a positive physical, social, and psychological environment. Assist the Certified Nurse Aides with making beds, passing meal trays/snacks to residents, collecting menu choices, answering lights, water pass, engaging residents with conversation, reading and other tasks as assigned by Supervising Nurse.
• other duties as assigned by supervising nurse

May not perform hands on care for residents, such as, feeding, transferring, pushing wheelchairs or taking residents to the bathroom.

High school or equivalent Education required

Also requires every other weekend and holiday schedule rotation.

Experience Requirements:

Job experience that demonstrates responsible attendance

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Able to work with and enjoy the elderly.
