The Famous Steak House is expanding! Our new Castle Rock location is slated to open on July 1st and we can't wait to hire our brand new team!

We are looking for hospitality minded EXPERIENCED Hosts!

Colorado Springs’ finest upscale steak house and lounge located in the center of downtown will soon expand to Castle Rock. An elegant and classic steak house environment. Award winning prime steaks, fresh seafood, premium wines and piano bar provide a provocative mix of atmosphere and entertainment. Featuring 30+ Colorado spirits and wines as well as local craft brews.

Job Summary

Responsible for greeting and seating guests at the restaurant. Maintain floor organization, clean menus, and set tables. Answer phone calls and take reservations.

Job Duties

• Monitor restaurant entrance, and greet guests and visitors in a warm and attentive manner.
• Take accurate reservations via diverse channels. Note all special occasions and acknowledge upon welcoming the party.
• Ensure returning and frequent guests are acknowledged and welcomed back.
• Ensure tables and chairs are set to welcome the next party by ensuring appropriate silverware, condiments and other items are in place.
• Ensure menus are available and well kept. Hand menus to guests upon seating.
• Assign tables as needed, and escort guests ensuring appropriate floor flow. Advise guests of waiting times and monitor occupancy.
• Maintain effective communication with servers, bussers, cooks, and other positions regarding reservations, patrons, table requests, etc.
• Maintain appropriate floor presence, as needed.
• Complete and assist with opening and closing duties.
• Complete and assist with side work such as refilling/restocking items, rolling silverware; perform basic cleaning of tables, chairs, floors, and other areas.
• Be aware of group reservations, special request reservations and other important notes for the day’s occupancy.
• Recognize special occasion visits and inform the server.
• Answer phone calls with appropriate greeting and take accurate reservations through diverse channels (OpenTable, phone calls, walk-ins, other department’s requests)
• Maintain basic knowledge of menu items, specials, and unavailable items.
• Upon completion of guest’s dining experience thank the party for their visit and extend an invitation to return.
• Clear tables in the absence of a Busser.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Ensure proper interactions through attentive, courteous and efficient customer service.
• Patiently answer all inquiries of our guests, visitors, and employees and assist them in every way possible.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Assist department, as needed.
• Additional duties, as required.

Qualifications

• Over three months of customer service experience; preferably in restaurants.
• Knowledge of Aloha, Grub Hub and Open Table, preferred.
• Self-starting and outgoing personality with a pleasant disposition, and strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to communicate in a professional manner with guests and visitors.
