The Comfort Inn/Comfort Hotels in Paducah, KY are now hiring a housekeeper/laundry attendent to join our cleaning team. You will be responsible for cleaning rooms and common areas, disposing of trash, changing beds, and notifying maintenance of any issues. You should be able to lift 25 pounds and have an eye for cleanliness.

Responsibilities:

• Keeping facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and stocking restrooms.
• Cleaning up spills with appropriate equipment.
• Notifying managers of necessary repairs.
• Collecting and disposing of trash.
• Assisting guests when necessary.
• Keeping the linen room stocked.
• Properly cleaning upholstered furniture.
• Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding clothing and other textile items.
• Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
• Performing minor sewing duties.
• Tracking which items belong to whom.
• Keeping an updated inventory of laundry detergents and sewing kits.
• Tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment.
• Ensuring that the facility remains clean at all times.
• Anticipating and responding to customers' queries, concerns, and complaints.
• Keeping sufficient tokens or change for the washing and drying machines, if required.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
