BlueWater Federal is seeking a Human Resources professional who desires to grow professionally and enjoys working with others in a fast-paced environment.

As the HR Generalist, you will report to and work collaboratively with the HR Manager to assist in all aspects of Human Resources including but not limited to HR policies and procedures, benefits, performance management, training and development, internal communication, employee relations, and payroll. This is primarily a remote role, occasional need to come into the Chantilly headquarters.

Responsibilities

· Perform benefits administration to include assistance with claims resolution, employee data changes, Leaves of Absence, and general communication of relevant benefits information to employees

· Coordinate and perform on-boarding, out-processing activities to include new employee offer letters, conduct new employee orientation, conducts exit interviews.

· Assist in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of HR department in relation to established goals for the department. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.

· Assist in maintaining and updating the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records with necessary changes

· Track training within the organization and maintain LMS system

· Work in collaboration with the HR Manager to maintain and analyze HR metrics to positively influence employee engagement and retention

Qualifications

· 3+ years’ HR Generalist experience to include knowledge of general human resources practices and procedures and knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations pertaining to the human resources function.

· Professional registration, i.e. SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP, PHR preferred, or working towards

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (PowerPoint and Word), Advanced Excel skills

· Must be local to the DC metro area and willing and able to go into the office occasionally

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
