About the Role

At PEC, we know that the secret sauce to success is our team. Thats why were seeking a candidate with a wide range of skills in the HR field. We are excited to expand our HR team to include a HR Generalist to help us continue to scale our team. As a HR Generalist at PEC, you'll be responsible for a broad range of HR functions such as recruitment and staffing, overseeing executions of company policies, assisting with compensation, labor relations, benefits, and training. The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of all aspects of HR. We are looking for a quick learner with strong communication skills that has the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


What you'll be doing

  • Developing and implementing recruitment strategies, managing job postings, screening resumes.
  • Collaborating with department managers to identify and create detailed and accurate job descriptions.
  • Overseeing the use of our Human Resources Information System and maintaining the system up to date.
  • Supporting the team member benefits programs by managing day to day changes on HRIS and assisting with yearly renewal and open enrollment.
  • Maintaining team member records, including personnel files and HR information systems.
  • Developing, implementing, and communicating HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization.
  • Aiding in the development and implementation of new team member orientation programs and assisting with the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Supporting the performance review process, including goal setting and performance evaluation.
  • Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations, such as the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
  • Identifying legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Assisting with the development and delivery of training programs for all team members, including leadership and management development.
  • Coordinating and assisting with the completion of bi-weekly Payroll
  • Partnering with the internal marketing team to build PEC as an employer brand.

What we are looking for:

  • 2-4 years of preforming Human Resources tasks
  • 2+ years of full-cycle recruitment experience is required
  • HRIS experience required, Paycom experience is a plus
  • BA/BS Degree is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment, and employee relations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Accomplishment and Success Oriented
  • Great attitude and a sense of humor
  • Willingness to learn and respectfully take direction from Manager
  • Desire to work with a fun, fast-paced team and make an impact in a play-to-win atmosphere
  • Must be detailed-oriented, able to work independently, and autonomously manage schedule

  • A valid insurable Drivers License
