Our Human Resources team is currently seeking an HRIS Consultant in our Worcester, MA, Syracuse, NY or Howell, MA location with hybrid flexible work arrangement. This is a full time, exempt role.

POSITION OVERVIEW:
Assist in the configuration, development, implementation, support and maintenance of HR technology. Partner with team to identify areas of opportunity to improve existing HR technology processes, functionality, and workflows, and maximize technological capabilities to reduce manual processes and improve data management and efficiency. Consult across the various HR disciplines to identify and assist with implementing technical solutions in support of HR and business strategy. Ensure optimal employee experience through use of change management techniques, including design of consumable reference materials and sound implementation to ensure adoption.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for low to medium complexity modules (Onboarding, Document Management, Recruiting, etc.) of Dayforce HCM platform as well as other HR technologies supported by HR technology team.
  • Assist with supporting HR technology of low to medium complexity including configuration, release management, testing, researching and resolving issues, unexpected results or process flaws, perform scheduled activities, and recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Work cross functionally to identify business process requirements and make recommendations to enable strategic objectives
  • Optimize the use of technology by recommending process improvements or innovative solutions to reduce manual activities and drive a positive employee experience
  • Support interfaces with third parties and other stakeholders as required
  • Builds relationships with HR, IT, Finance, Payroll and others to streamline flow of HR data
  • Manage projects, timelines, communications, change management strategies and deliverables
  • Support internal and external system audits to ensure data integrity and efficient processing of HR data
  • Support self-reliance reporting strategy by creating standard self-reliance reports for end-users
  • Serve as a consultant within HR centers of excellence as well as end users of technology
  • Serve on product councils with HCM provider, acting as a champion for product enhancements and bringing best practices back to the Hanover
  • Maintain integrity of HR Shared Services model through ownership of reporting, content design and maintenance
  • Ensure effective employee experience through communication, documentation, training, job aids, self-reliance content by partnering with others
WHAT YOU NEED TO APPLY:
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with 3-5 years of Human Resource technology experience
  • Moderate project management skills including technical planning around UAT and release management
  • Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities, design, and implement changes in HR systems
  • Proactively seeks opportunities to implement process improvement to drive greater performance levels
  • Assist with managing key vendor partnerships and oversee/manage vendor performance to maximize desired outcomes
  • Balances conflicting priorities in order to manage workflow, ensure the completion of essential projects, and meet critical deadlines
  • Experience with root cause analysis to identify problems/inefficiencies with HR systems
  • Ability to identify trend analyses and interpret data to translate into business recommendations
  • Ability to build effective partnerships across HR and the company
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills
  • Ability to synthesize large amounts of information to create summarized, consumable materials
  • Demonstrated proficiency Office 365
  • High degree of accuracy with attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
